Jackson Freeman has allowed his job to take over his life, leaving him oblivious to what's really important. His monotonous routine of going to and from work has left him with an empty home and a neglected family. The only glimpse of connection to the outside world is the messages he received on his answering machine that he listens to at the end of each day. However, he realizes that it may be too late to make amends for the time he has lost with those who matter most.
